This study examined results from the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS), NHS II, and the Health Professionals’ Follow-up Study (HPFS) that included a look at the participants’ diet every four years, to assess the relationship of beverage choices and diabetes, and found that replacing sweet drinks like soda or juice with coffee, tea or water had a huge health benefit.
